Behavioral Intervention Specialist
Western NY Hourly Pay Range: $32-$35 Shift: Monday-Friday, hybrid schedule. People Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Intervention Specialist to support people with developmental and intellectual disabilities through person-centered, trauma informed behavioral services. If you are a BCBA, LMHC, LCSW, or masters level clinician who wants to focus on meaningful behavioral work this role offers collaboration, stability, and impact.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the clinical lead for behavioral supports within assigned programs.
- Conduct functional Behavior Assessments.
- Develop and Revise Behavior Support Plans.
- Provide hands-on coaching and modeling to DSPs and program leads.
- Analyze behavioral data and adjust interventions accordingly.
What We're Looking for:
- Master's degree in social work, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related clinical field.
- BCBA Certification.
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW).
- NYS License in Mental Health Counseling.
- Valid Driver's license that meets agency policy.
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
