Before becoming a State Farm agent, I earned my business degree and worked in the aerospace industry. My path to State Farm actually began through football - my college football coach was a State Farm agent and recruited me to pursue the opportunity. Decades later, State Farm has become a family tradition, with my oldest son now an agent as well. Outside of work, family is incredibly important to me. I’ve been married for 45 years and am a proud grandfather of five. Having played college football myself, athletics have also remained an important part of my life. Our agency stays connected to that passion by sponsoring local high school athletics and supporting programs throughout football season. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. RESPONSIBILITIES Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members. Manage appointment scheduling and office communications. Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records. Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options. Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs. Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects. QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role. Communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational and multitasking abilities.
