Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid certification in Special Education (or eligibility)
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher, particularly in PreK or Grades K-4 preferred
• Knowledge of best practices for supporting learners with diverse needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to new environments and integrate with established teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group instruction in alignment with students’ IEPs
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that meets the needs of each child
• Collaborate with general education staff, therapists, and families to ensure comprehensive support
• Maintain detailed records and document student progress
• Participate in planning sessions, professional development, and school community activities as needed
