Customer Service Representative

Job Summary Pay: $19 - $20/hr and up to $2,000 through performance bonuses in the summer. Location: Horizon Stuart, FL – 3066 Gran Park Way, Stuart, Florida. Company: Horizon Distributors, Inc. (Horizon) is a wholly owned subsidiary of POOLCORP. Responsibilities Greet walk‑in and phone customers, actively listening to understand needs and challenges. Act as a business partner, recommending product solutions, upsell options, and complimentary items to improve productivity. Collaborate with team members and use all company resources to sell Horizon’s value and provide outstanding service. Prepare sales orders and assist customers in selecting and loading merchandise. Make follow‑up calls to potential and existing customers to introduce opportunities and solicit additional business. Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly. Maintain a clean, well‑organized, and well‑stocked sales center. Assist with receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Strong customer‑service attitude. Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented. Thrives in a fast‑paced environment focused on serving business owners. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Cooperative, dependable teamwork. Computer and record‑keeping skills, with aptitude to learn evolving systems, programs, handheld technology, and processes. Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds routinely and occasionally up to 75 pounds. Forklift certification required or obtainable. Minimum age 18 years. High school diploma or GED preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Experience with irrigation or other landscape products is a huge plus. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply.
