Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' medical histories and physical assessments to understand their specific needs and conditions.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education for optimal recovery.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy methods, such as trigger point therapy and dry needling, to effectively alleviate pain and facilitate healing.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, and range of motion, including customized at-home exercise regimens.
• Regularly monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies to ensure effective healing and rehabilitation.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of patient records, adhering to all regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. This diverse patient population requires a nuanced understanding of physical therapy practices to tailor individualized care and intervention strategies. You will apply your knowledge to support patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric groups, ensuring that each treatment plan is age-appropriate and specifically aligned with individual goals and capacities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
