Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Movement Restore Therapy, Inc., you will work onsite in our fully equipped rehabilitation facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The work environment is designed to foster collaboration among healthcare professionals, including Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehabilitation Technicians, and Fitness Specialists. With minimal paperwork and a structured schedule, you will be able to focus primarily on delivering therapeutic interventions and meaningful patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and challenges to assess their individual needs and goals.
• Design and implement personalized treatment programs that address patients' specific requirements, in line with evidence-based practices.
• Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehabilitation Aides, and students, ensuring a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment processes, exercise regimens, and long-term health management strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate physical therapy into broader rehabilitation efforts, sharing insights and strategies to enhance overall patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals recovering from various injuries and illnesses, including post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and mobility limitations. By understanding diverse patient backgrounds and conditions, you will utilize your expertise to provide customized therapy that leads to meaningful improvements in their daily lives.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program; additional certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.
• Strong foundational knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology, and physical therapy best practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to work independently to manage your caseload while also contributing to a collaborative team dynamic.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic or outpatient rehabilitation settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate efficient documentation and progress tracking.
