Work Environment

As a licensed Physical Therapist with us, you will provide onsite care to patients in the comfort of their own homes, allowing you to build meaningful relationships and have a direct impact on their rehabilitation journey. The minimal paperwork allows you to focus more on patient care and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients under physician orders, developing comprehensive treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions through direct patient care, ensuring they understand their treatment plans and engage in their rehabilitation process.
• Educate treatment staff and supervise physical therapy assistants and aides, fostering their professional development and ensuring high standards of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical findings, treatment plans, and billing information in compliance with departmental and facility protocols.
• Lead and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and make collaborative decisions about care approaches.
• Educate and involve family members in care discussions and decisions, providing them with tools and information to support their loved ones' recovery.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and other learning experiences to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.
• Uphold patient confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA regulations and the company's ethical standards in all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Active Fit Care Therapy, you will work primarily with a diverse population of patients, including those recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, or requiring rehabilitation after injuries. The individualized attention you provide will be crucial in helping each patient navigate their recovery journey, achieve their personal mobility goals, and improve their overall health. Your work will directly contribute to better health outcomes and enhanced quality of life for your patients.

Qualifications

• A valid and current Florida State License as a Physical Therapist is required.
• Possession of a Florida Driver's License, registration, and auto insurance.
• Current certifications: CPR, physical examination, and PPD.
• A Bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program is essential.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and engage with patients.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in physical therapy, particularly in a home care setting, is preferred but not mandatory. New graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience with patient assessment and customized treatment planning will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive salary range of USD 120,000 – 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
