Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW at Inner Horizon Counseling, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments of students to identify their mental health needs and challenges.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to the school environment.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring timely updates on patient progress and activities.

• Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of educators, psychologists, and school staff to provide holistic support to students and promote academic success.

• Facilitating regular case consultations and peer reviews to continuously elevate the quality of therapeutic services offered.

• Educating students and their families about mental health issues, available resources, and effective coping strategies, thereby empowering them to take charge of their mental well-being.

• Staying informed on the latest developments in mental health to incorporate new techniques and strategies into your practice, ensuring that students receive the best possible care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related concerns. Your compassionate approach will foster a safe space for students to explore their feelings and develop effective coping mechanisms, ultimately enhancing their social functioning and academic performance.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, ideally within a school or educational setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We recognize the dedication and skills of our team members and offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to USD 130,000 per year, based on your experience and qualifications.
