Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing you to engage meaningfully with students while maintaining a work-life balance. You will primarily work with school counselors and administrative staff to integrate mental health services into the educational framework, ensuring that students receive the comprehensive support they need to thrive both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for students dealing with a variety of mental health issues, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to their needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, continually assessing progress and adjusting strategies for optimal outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring all progress notes reflect patient developments.

• Collaborate with school faculty, educational psychologists, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive environment conducive to student well-being.

• Engage in crisis intervention as necessary, equipped to handle emergencies with composure and effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role will be primarily on children and adolescents in a school environment. You will work with students experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related concerns. Your ability to establish rapport and provide empathetic support will be critical in creating a safe space for students to express themselves and seek help.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• An active and current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in Pennsylvania is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health, particularly within outpatient or school-based settings.

• Proficiency in medical documentation, including treatment planning and progress notes, is essential.
