Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of patients using evidence-based methodologies aligned with the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to establish individualized care plans.

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy interventions, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely treatment records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and departmental standards, utilizing integrated electronic health record systems.

• Collaborate closely with patients and their families to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, considering cultural diversity and individualized needs.

• Provide education and resources to patients regarding mental health and wellness, empowering them in their treatment journey.
\n
• Serve as a liaison between patients and additional treatment providers, coordinating referrals and ensuring continuity of care.

• Facilitate training and mentorship for interns, volunteers, and other team members, contributing to their professional growth and development.

• Engage in peer review and clinical collaboration, as directed by your clinical supervisor, to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals and families navigating the challenges associated with a cancer diagnosis. Your expertise will play a crucial role in addressing the complex emotional and psychological needs of this unique patient population. You will work diligently to support patients’ mental health by utilizing trauma-informed care principles and evidence-based practices tailored to support their journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Tennessee.

• Demonstrated experience in providing mental health services, particularly in outpatient settings or school-based environments, is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
