Front Desk - Administrative Assistant / Optometric Technician

Job Description Job Description Job duties for Front Desk / Administrative position include providing warm and friendly customer service, answering phones, scheduling appointments, assisting patients with checking in and checking out, managing patient flow, and answering questions regarding patient insurance coverage and benefits. Applicant must be detail oriented and able to easily multitask. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our group of qualified professionals. A minimum of 1 year of Optical experience is preferred. Proficiency with OfficeMate software is an advantage.
Job duties for Optometric Technician include managing patient flow, medical history taking, preforming preliminary testing (NCT, Auto Refraction, pupils, versions, motility, acuity, color vision, stereopsis, ect.), administering special testing (Optomap,OCTs, Visual Fields, Digital Retinal Photography and Corneal Pachemetry), and managing the ordering and dispensing of contact lenses.Applicant must have excellent customer service skills and be an enthusiastic team player.Applicant must have at least 1 year of Optical experience. Proficiency with Eyefinity EHR would be a great benefit
