VP, Global Media Search Lead

VP – Global Media Search Lead is a leadership role within the agency, managing a Guild of search experts across search functional areas to include PPC, SEO and YouTube. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Evolvics, this position serves as the cornerstone for the agency POV on all things search marketing and leads the execution and operationalizing of all global search media campaigns and SEO efforts.

As a leader in the agency, this position plays an important role in molding and shaping our processes, search offerings and priorities while ensuring we are flawlessly executing upon our strategies. This role will focus on driving efficiency in execution with an eye on profitability. Working with key SMEs they will also play an integral role in developing relevant training programs and processes to ensure we create an environment of sharing and learning across all Activation Groups, Guilds and office locations. 

Key responsibilities of this role include owning the build, mentor, and growth a high-performing global Media Search team, accountable for talent strategy, workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, capability development, and ongoing career progression. You will be tasked with growing a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence while maintaining accountability for the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of Search deliverables across all clients, markets, and lines of business.

Key responsibilities & Duties

• Lead a Guild of execution SME’s that manage the day-to-day of PPC, SEO and YouTube campaigns.
• In collaboration with Operations, identify and provide recommendations for improving workflow and ensuring flawless execution of all programs.
• In collaboration with Activation Group leads, and Operations, define roles and responsibilities for team members on a project basis.
• Establish and maintain efficient processes in operationalizing PPC, SEO and YouTube campaign execution
• Instil a culture of performance excellence with an unwavering commitment to aggressive optimization, test-and-learn techniques, and a relentless pursuit to exceed client expectations
• Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation through the use of new technologies and processes. Must have skills: innovative, open mind.
• Coordinate with the MD, Evolvics and the EVP of Media Product and Innovation to bring the Search Guild forward in connecting with data work streams throughout the agency. 
• Own and evolve the agency's search point of view — develop strong, defensible POVs across the full search landscape, from PPC and classic SEO through emerging answer-engine and generative-engine optimisation (AEO/GEO), and ensure those POVs are socialised and applied consistently across Guilds and Activation Groups.

Qualifications

• 12+ years' experience in search marketing with at least 5 years in the pharmaceutical advertising space. Clinical trial and PR experience strong positives
• An established expertise in strategic search analysis and a demonstrated passion for emerging technologies, including familiarity with PLD (physician level data) and advanced use cases for search in the pharmaceutical space.
• An ability to digest a client’s objectives and translate that into a meaningful search strategy.
• Familiarity with search intelligence tools (ScreamingFrog, SEMRush, etc) and a propensity for translating customer insights into strategy
• An unwavering commitment to client service, problem solving and collaboration
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, continually changing environment

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $155,000 to $185,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
