Business Development Representative

Why This Role Matters Now Since starting 18 months ago, we’ve raised $100,000,0000+ from world‑class investors such as Lightspeed Venture Partners, Khosla Ventures, Contrary Ventures and Google Ventures, as well as more than 20 angel investors who’ve built, scaled, and exited some of the most impactful companies of the last decade. We got there by moving incredibly fast and hiring an exceptionally sharp, hard‑working and deeply committed team from leading tech and accounting companies – Ramp, Meta, Microsoft, Lyft, PwC, Deloitte, J.P. Morgan, Bloomberg, Sage, Xero and Intuit. And some of us don't have a fancy logo on our resume and are here for a shot to prove ourselves. We’re a small team, growing fast with huge momentum – join early. As our Business Development Representative, you’ll drive outbound strategy end‑to‑end to bring DualEntry to the office of the CFO at maximum speed. This is a hands‑on GTM role with high ownership. We expect you to push for excellence and raise the bar, including developing the GTM playbook. This is an intense, hands‑on role with full ownership. Location: New York City HQ, 7 World Trade Center Where you'll create impact Drive high‑volume ERP lead gen and engage with prospects GTM process improvement and experimentation (creative outbound strategies, sales velocity improvements, etc.) Develop deep ERP product understanding Keep AEs’ calendars full with qualified meetings Improve reply rates and conversion month over month Constantly bring insights from calls back to the marketing and product team What sets you up for success Hardcore work ethic and high agency 6+ months of experience in outbound sales (SDR/BDR role) Proven ability to generate 10‑15 SQLs/month and maintain high outbound activity Strong cold calling and cold emailing skills, with the ability to handle C‑level conversations Experience with outreach tools like Outreach, Gong, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and HubSpot/Salesforce Data‑driven approach - ability to track, A/B test, and optimize outbound efforts High energy and growth mindset, with a drive to break into tech sales Why you’ll thrive here Significant equity ownership in one of the top AI companies in the world You’re joining early and will grow with DualEntry Your feedback shapes the product directly High‑speed culture High‑trust environment with high expectations Ambitious mission – ERP is one of the largest B2B software markets in the world ($220bn per year), this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to build the next generation ERP in an industry that has not seen new entrants in 30+ years Compensation&Benefits Equity: $20,000 – $30,000 Base Salary: $65,000 – $95,000 Variable Compensation: $50,000 – $80,000 (uncapped) OTE: $115,000 – $175,000 15 PTO days + 12 public holidays Full medical, dental & vision insurance Commuter benefits 401k benefits On‑site team culture – high collaboration, no bureaucracy We hire the best, expect the best, and give you the masterclass of your career – an archaic and huge industry like ERP only goes through a restructure like this once in a lifetime.
