Key qualifications and requirements:

• Valid and current or pending Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license or COOL (required for interview consideration)
• Proven classroom management skills, particularly in an elementary setting
• Demonstrated experience supporting students with autism
• Ability to adapt instruction and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

Daily responsibilities:

• Work onsite with a resource caseload, delivering specialized support and instruction to elementary students
• Develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as needed
• Provide direct support to students with diverse learning profiles, ensuring their educational and social goals are met
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create consistent, individualized student strategies
• Maintain accurate records, track student progress, and contribute to team meetings
• Uphold high standards of classroom management and create a structured, positive learning environment for all
