Summary The Associate Director, Enabling Functions Analytics is a senior technical leader responsible for scaling analytics capabilities across various corporate functions. This role partners closely with senior stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights, drive operational efficiency, and elevate analytics maturity across the enterprise. The ideal candidate is a technically deep, full-spectrum analytics practitioner, fluent in building executive-ready visualizations, data science solutions, and has basic working knowledge of modern GenAI-powered analytics. They combine hands‑on technical excellence with strategic thinking, executive-level communication, and the ability to lead and influence in a highly matrixed environment. Roles & Responsibilities Serve as a hands‑on technical leader across the full analytics stack, architecting end‑to‑end solutions spanning BI/visualization, data science, and GenAI‑powered analytics Identify, design, and deploy GenAI‑driven analytics solutions (e.g., LLM‑powered insights, natural language data querying, AI‑assisted reporting, agentic workflows) to modernize how enabling functions consume data and insights Act as a strategic analytics partner to enabling functions (HR, Finance, Compliance, Procurement, Legal, IT, etc.), aligning analytical capabilities to business priorities and measurable outcomes Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, decision‑ready recommendations and executive‑level narratives for senior stakeholders Advance analytics maturity through standardized frameworks, reusable assets, governance best practices, and alignment with enterprise data platform standards Lead, mentor, and influence across a highly matrixed organization, developing junior analysts and driving cross‑functional collaboration while balancing competing priorities Skills & Competencies Business partnering & Leadership: Proven ability to translate complex business problems into scalable analytical solutions with strong executive communication and data storytelling skills Visualization & Reporting: Proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, RLS, dashboard design) with strong SQL skills for complex querying and transformation Data Science & Advanced Analytics: Hands‑on Python and applied experience with data science solutions, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, NLP to deliver real business solutions GenAI & Modern Analytics: Working knowledge of building with LLMs and familiarity with agentic workflows and GenAI frameworks Experience Required Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. 8+ years of relevant professional experience in analytics, or related disciplines. 6+ years of hands‑on experience with modern analytics and reporting tools. Compensation Overview Princeton - NJ - US: $167,540 - $203,013 The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. All global employees full and part‑time who are actively employed at and paid directly by BMS at the end of the calendar year are eligible to take advantage of the Global Shutdown. *Eligibility Disclosure: The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office‑based employees due to the unique nature of their work. Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers. Employees in remote‑by‑design or lab‑based roles may be eligible for summer hours, depending on the nature of their work, and should discuss eligibility with their manager. Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program. Site‑by‑design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility.
