Our organization is on the lookout for a Vascular Surgeon to become a part of our collaborative department!

We are a distinguished, non-profit teaching hospital situated in Oceanside, New York, dedicated to providing exceptional acute care. Our committed team serves the entire South Shore, extending from the Rockaways in Queens to Massapequas and beyond. We pride ourselves on delivering compassionate, high-quality care at our main campus in Oceanside, along with nine additional satellite facilities in the area. As one of the largest hospitals in the region, we boast 455 beds, over 900 physicians, and a workforce of 3,500 employees. The Division of Vascular Surgery is seeking a full-time vascular surgeon who is board eligible or board certified to carry out a comprehensive range of vascular surgical procedures and endovascular interventions. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for educating residents and students, demonstrating exceptional clinical and teaching abilities, and a strong commitment to excellence and diversity. The new Vascular Surgeon will join two full-time colleagues and will have access to a fully accredited vascular lab (ICAVL), a cutting-edge interventional suite, and a Vascular Access program. Our environment fosters collegiality among practitioners and strong support from specialists and administration.

We are recognized as a Level II verified trauma center, handling approximately 65,000 emergency department visits each year. Designated as a Magnet® hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for our outstanding nursing care, we also utilize advanced technologies such as Novalis Tx™ and Gamma Knife® radiosurgery. Additionally, we operate the only Trauma Center on the South Shore of Nassau County that is verified by the American College of Surgeons.

In 2018, we were the sole hospital on Long Island to receive Healthgrades America's 100 Best Hospitals for Orthopedic Surgery™, the Orthopedic Surgery Excellence Award™, and a 5-star rating for Total Hip Replacement. We were also one of only two hospitals on Long Island to achieve a 5-star rating in Hip Fracture Treatment. Position Overview:

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid New York Medical License.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Vascular Surgery.

The compensation for this position ranges from $350,000 to $375,000 (excluding bonuses, incentive compensation, or benefits).

Our organization provides a salary range in compliance with New York City’s Salary Transparency law. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, collections, and community needs. Therefore, the final salary may be closer to either end of the range, and in some cases, may fall outside the listed range. The stated salary range applies to full-time positions and does not include bonuses, incentive compensation, or benefits.
