• Pay Information: $5,000 sign-on bonus with a one-year commitment!

• Design, implement, and deliver dietary interventions, medical nutrition therapy, and preventive counseling for individuals and groups across various settings, including primary and specialty care, acute care, skilled nursing, outpatient, and community environments.
• Provide medical nutrition therapy services and oversee the nutritional care of clients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, as assigned.
• Assess nutritional status through evaluations, create individualized care plans, and recommend provider orders while implementing nutrition therapy, including verbal orders, diet modifications, nutrition support, and oral nutrition supplements.
• Educate and counsel clients on disease management and nutrition risk, while evaluating the outcomes of medical nutrition therapy interventions.
• Enhance self-management education and skills for clients with chronic conditions, considering cultural, ethnic, and religious beliefs in nutritional needs.
• Utilize an evidence-based approach to evaluate the effectiveness of treatments or procedures.
• Lead the healthcare team in implementing nutrition therapies and develop nutrition care protocols for the assigned area.
• Provide education on dietary guidelines based on medical conditions and health risks.
• Incorporate new trends and techniques to design care plans and update educational materials.
• Assist in customizing clinical education and materials for clients, families, and caregivers.
• Maintain high standards of quality control and infection safety protocols.
• Be aware of individual insurance coverage and reimbursement situations, participating in clinical performance improvement activities, including research on new treatments or procedures.

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in dietetics or food and nutrition from an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited program. *(Note: After January 1, 2024, a master's degree will be required to take the registration exam to become a dietitian.)*
• Clinical nutrition experience through an approved coordinated undergraduate program or successful completion of a postgraduate internship is required.
• Must possess a Registered Dietitian (RD) license in the applicable state(s).
• Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is mandatory.
• For applicable states, proof of a temporary/limited permit nutritionist license will be accepted for individuals awaiting their CDR exam, allowing two attempts within three months of hire.
