Accounting Assistant

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Salary: $60,000 $70,000 (depending on experience)

Construction industry

We are recruiting on behalf of a respected Indianapolis employer seeking an Accounting Assistant. This role supports daily accounting operations, maintains accurate records, and contributes to the overall efficiency of the finance team in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing
Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
Support month-end and year-end close activities
Perform reconciliations and journal entries
Provide administrative support to the accounting team

Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
13 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
