Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to support high-volume payroll operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience processing multi-state payroll using ADP, with union payroll experience preferred. We value candidates with a positive, team-oriented attitude, a willingness to learn, and a "just here to work" mindset. Candidates who are comfortable working in a primarily Spanish-speaking environment are encouraged to apply.

Essential Functions

• Provide day-to-day support to the Payroll Manager on all payroll-related activities.
• Process high-volume, multi-state payroll accurately and efficiently.
• Perform customer service functions by responding to employee payroll inquiries.
• Prepare, maintain, and update employee payroll records and files.
• Assist with new hire onboarding, terminations, status changes, and payroll updates.
• Reconcile payroll discrepancies and maintain accurate payroll records.
• Generate, review, and monitor payroll reports; identify and communicate payroll issues.
• Compile payroll data from timecards, timesheets, and supporting documentation.
• Screen timekeeping records for accuracy, coding, and compliance.
• Process employee pay, taxes, garnishments, benefits, and other payroll deductions.
• Review payroll input forms and enter data into the ADP payroll system.
• Sort and distribute payroll documentation to branch locations.
• Perform other payroll-related duties as needed to support business operations and compliance.
