Associate Attorney — Real Property & Oil and Gas Title Dallas, Texas | Full-Time | Immediately Available Our law firm is seeking an Associate to join our Dallas office. This role is well suited to a recent law school graduate who is analytical, diligent, and detail-oriented, with a genuine interest in building a specialized skillset at the intersection of real property, oil and gas, and title law. No prior experience in these areas is required — we provide the training; you bring the work ethic and curiosity. Responsibilities: Review recorded and unrecorded documents to establish the chain of title for various real property interests Conduct legal research on real property and oil and gas law Identify potential title defects and recommend curative actions Analyze oil and gas leases, assignments, and related agreements Research public records and other available resources to gather well data, deeds, heirship information, and related materials Calculate ownership of various real property interests using Excel Draft mineral title opinions Required Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) Strong analytical thinking, research ability, mathematical aptitude, and excellent reading and writing skills Unwavering attention to detail, with strong organizational and time-management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with an interest in and comfort with learning new applications Ability to work full-time in the Dallas office To Be Considered, Please Submit: Resume, including GPA and class rank Law school transcript Application Deadline: August 7, 2026 Applications that do not include all of the items listed above will not be considered.
