CNC MILL (2ND SHIFT MAZAK)

Looking to advance your machining career on the 2nd Shift with a leading precision manufacturer? Randstad Islandia is hiring a 2nd Shift CNC Machine Operator for a premiere client located in Bohemia, NY. You will be responsible for setting up, loading, and running high-precision production cycles on state-of-the-art machinery.

⚠️ CRITICAL REQUIREMENT: To be considered for this position, candidates MUST have direct, hands-on MAZAK experience (operating Mazak CNC mills or lathes). Applications without verifiable Mazak experience will not be evaluated.

salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year

work hours: 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate Mazak CNC mills and/or lathes to produce high-tolerance precision components.

• Load raw stock, set work offsets, and monitor machine parameters during production runs.

• Execute 1st-piece and routine in-process dimensional checks using precision measuring instruments.

• Maintain clean, safe equipment operations and report non-conformances or tool wear to the Shift Lead.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
