Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the nature and severity of mood disorders, employing evidence-based screening tools.

• Develop individualized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, addressing their specific goals and preferences regarding their mental health.

• Implement effective therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress and symptom relief.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment modalities, and self-care strategies to empower them on their journey to recovery.

• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and ensuring they are aligned with the clients’ needs.

• Engage in regular collaboration with a team of psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. You will provide culturally sensitive and empathetic care to clients from varying backgrounds, ensuring that each session addresses their unique concerns and promotes their overall mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.

• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches, particularly concerning mood disorders.

• Strong familiarity with psychopharmacology to enable effective collaboration with prescribing psychiatrists.

• Exceptional communication skills to foster trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n
