OrthoVirginia, the premier orthopedic/musculoskeletal practice in Virginia, has opportunities for fellowship‑trained, board‑certified/board‑eligible orthopedic spine surgeons to join our practice in the Richmond and Blacksburg, VA areas.

About OrthoVirginia

OrthoVirginia is the premier orthopedic practice in the state of Virginia. We have specialists in physiatry, general orthopedics, joint replacement, spine surgery, sports medicine, hand and foot & ankle surgery, rheumatology, sports medicine‑trained primary care physicians, and physical and occupational therapy. We also have MRI, injection suites, after‑hours clinics, surgery centers, and expanded therapy services.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will work alongside specialists in general orthopedics, joint replacement, sports medicine, and orthopedic trauma.

Our practice offers a direct pathway to becoming a shareholding physician and the potential for participation in ancillary revenues such as imaging and physical therapy.

This is a private practice/partnership track opportunity. As such, candidates should be prepared to participate in general orthopedic call.

Qualifications

• Strong background in spine surgery
• Trained to care for general orthopedic conditions
• Board Certification/Eligibility MD or DO degree
• Active/eligibility for Virginia state licensure

• Spinal fusion (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
• Disc replacement surgery
• Laminectomy
• Discectomy
• Scoliosis correction
• Kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty
• Minimally invasive spine surgery
• Spinal decompression
• Treatment of spinal fractures
• Management of spinal tumors and infections

Compensation

Compensation Range for this position: $275,000 - $325,000
