Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license through NCBOT
• Post-graduate OT degree (Master’s preferred)
• Prior school-based OT experience required (NC experience strongly preferred)
• Proficient in ECATS and IEP documentation
• Experience with Sensory Processing Measure-2 (SPM-2) and Sensory Profile 2
• Understanding of therapy assessment in educational context
• Must secure NPI number and register with NC Tracks before start
• DCDEE fingerprinting and school district background check required

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide OT services across multiple schools on the western side of Wake County
• Conduct motor screenings, OT evaluations, and documentation
• Work with students of varying age groups, based on a workload model
• Reassess and plan caseload monthly with your supervisor
• Apply standardized assessments and effectively interpret results
• Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
