Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students’ success as a licensed Occupational Therapist within a collaborative school environment. This full-time, on-site position offers the chance to work across multiple campuses in the western region, serving a diverse range of learners on a year-round schedule.

Desired Background & Skills:

• Active OT license through the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy (NCBOT)
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (post-grad required)
• Demonstrated school-based OT experience—NC school experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity and proficiency with ECATS and IEP documentation
• Skilled in conducting motor screenings, OT evaluations, and interpreting assessment results within educational settings
• Solid knowledge of standardized school-based assessments, including SPM-2 and Sensory Profile 2
• Strong understanding of how OT interventions support students’ functional skills in alignment with state standards
• Experience providing therapy and documenting services for children and adolescents

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as assigned, following individualized education plans
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings tailored to the school-based population
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement intervention strategies
• Maintain thorough, compliant documentation in ECATS and IEPs in accordance with district policies
• Participate in monthly workload reviews and adjust service delivery as student needs fluctuate
• Engage in prescreening with district leadership before presentation
