As a Sr. Manager, Strategic Sourcing, COE reporting to the Director, Strategic Sourcing, COE you will be trusted to participate in developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives in alignment with COE procurement strategies. This role will focus on strategic sourcing of direct materials, executing project implementation, and contributing to the development of COE procurement strategies at Alcon’s Fort Worth, TX location.In this role, a typical day will include: Demonstrated Experience in Strategic Sourcing of Direct MaterialsAdvanced knowledge of electronics, resins, molding, packaging, and medical device equipmentContinuously look out for cheap and alternative sources, matching specs locallyBridge with Asia and US sites for cost improvements and strategic discussions based on the guidance from the US COE team.
