Job Responsibilities

• Design Customized Therapy Approaches: Assess each patient's specific requirements and create tailored intervention plans that facilitate them in reaching their functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply proven practices to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and essential daily activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care for all patients.
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide valuable insights and instruction on therapeutic techniques that promote sustained progress outside of clinical settings.
• Monitor Progress and Adapt Treatment: Evaluate clinical results and modify approaches as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track with their goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouraged to pursue continuing education or additional certifications

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• Current NBCOT certification mandatory
