Business Development Manager - Healthcare & Institutional Surplus Auctions

DirectBids helps hospitals, universities, and large organizations recover value from surplus and used assets through online auctions. We work with health systems, academic institutions, and equipment resellers to simplify the liquidation process for medical equipment, vehicles, electronics, and other surplus assets. We are an entrepreneurial company looking for someone who wants to help build relationships, grow accounts, and create long-term value alongside leadership. The Role We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager based in the Houston area to help grow our presence across healthcare and institutional accounts throughout Texas. This is a relationship-driven role focused on prospecting, networking, account growth, and uncovering opportunities within large organizations. You will spend most of your time meeting with clients and prospects, visiting facilities, attending industry events, and building relationships. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, entrepreneurial, organized, and comfortable working independently while staying closely connected with leadership.
