Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Take on an impactful contract opportunity as a part-time onsite Behavior Intervention Specialist supporting students and staff across 3-4 school sites during the 2025-2026 academic year. In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team of Behavior Specialists and Special Education Administrators to design and implement positive behavior interventions and supports.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid BCBA or Tier 3/Tier 4 Special Education teaching license (required for SpEd Teacher applicants; RBTs do not qualify).
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and providing consultative support.
• Adaptable mindset to serve multiple sites and address diverse student needs calmly and effectively.
• Strong data-driven approach to inform programming and planning.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide consultation and direct support in implementing positive behavior interventions for students.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and work collaboratively to develop effective individualized programming.
• Reinforce positive behaviors and use de-escalation techniques as needed; implement restrictive procedures when appropriate.
• Support the creation and execution of individualized education plans according to district, state, and federal requirements.
• Deliver staff training on behavioral recommendations and best practices.
• Maintain safety within the school environment and ensure compliance with all district policies.
• Analyze and utilize student data to guide decision-making and enhance student outcomes.

This part-time position averages 18 hours a week (.5 FTE), typically between 8:30 am and 4:10 pm, with some slight variation to accommodate school schedules.
