Staff Accountant Full-time Regular Louisville, KY, US 4 days ago Requisition ID: 1522 Staff Accountant / Staff Consultant — Tax, Audit & Healthcare Reimbursement Full-Time | Hybrid Blue & Co., LLC is a CPA and Advisory firm providing accounting and consulting services to growth-committed, entrepreneurial clients across multiple industries. We are seeking analytical, client-focused professionals to join one of three practice areas in our Louisville, KY office: Tax, Audit, or Healthcare Reimbursement . Whether you are beginning your public accounting career or building specialized expertise, you will work alongside experienced professionals, solve meaningful client challenges, and continue developing your technical and advisory skills. What You’ll Do Responsibilities will vary by practice area: Tax: Prepare individual and business tax returns; perform tax research and calculations; assist with technical review of individual, corporate, and partnership returns. Audit: Support audits, reviews, compilations, and other accounting services; analyze accounting records and financial reports; prepare financial statements, supporting schedules, workpapers, reports, and audit correspondence. Healthcare Reimbursement: Analyze and reconcile financial and operational data; support reimbursement consulting projects involving Medicare DSH, Medicaid DSH, Wage Index, Occupational Mix, and Worksheet S-10; research regulations and provide data-driven client insights. Across all areas, you will build client relationships, collaborate with teammates, help identify practical solutions, and deliver exceptional client service. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. A collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous learning. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills. Public accounting experience is preferred; requirements may vary by practice area. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to travel locally to client locations as needed, with minimal overnight travel. For Healthcare Reimbursement, experience with SQL, Alteryx, or Python is preferred.
