Executive Director Location: Burlington, KY, United States The Boone County Planning Commission is a joint city/county planning commission serving the entire county and three cities. The Commission has a Board of appointed members, a professional staff, and a budget of $2.6 million. The Executive Director will lead planning, zoning, and GIS services provided countywide. Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in community planning or related field. At least 12 years of progressive work experience in land use planning, preferably in growth management, and demonstrable experience in zoning. Master’s degree in planning or related field is a plus. Strong supervisory and budgeting knowledge and experience. Excellent written, technical, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred AICP certification. Salary and Benefits: Starting salary range: $135,000 - $175,000 per year, dependent on qualifications and experience. Benefits include medical and dental insurance, paid vacation, CERS retirement, and other benefits.
