Bookkeeper/Accountant

Our client, a reputable CPA firm in Tampa, is seeking a Bookkeeper / Accountant for an immediate opening. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a public accounting environment, supporting multiple clients, and handling a variety of bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Full-cycle Accounts Payable processing General Ledger maintenance and invoice coding Bank and account reconciliations Small business write-up preparation Payroll tax filings and reconciliations, including Form 941 and RT-6 Maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities Support clients with day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting needs Qualifications 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations Experience processing payroll tax filings, including 941s and RT-6s Accounts Payable and bookkeeping experience required QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel proficiency preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a client-focused environment All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
