Position Title: Day Porter
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19131
Schedule: Monday through Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Day Porter to join our team at a school located in Philadelphia, PA 19131 . The Day Porter is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors throughout the school day.
Responsibilities- Clean and maintain restrooms throughout the day.
- Empty trash and replace liners.
- Sweep, mop, and maintain hallways, entrances, cafeterias, and common areas.
- Clean spills and respond promptly to custodial requests.
- Refill restroom supplies and other cleaning materials.
- Clean glass doors, windows, and high-touch surfaces.
- Set up and break down tables and chairs for school activities.
- Monitor the facility and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform additional custodial duties as assigned.
- Janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must successfully complete all required background checks to work in a school.
- Monday–Friday schedule
