About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in the organization's leadership. The CFO will be responsible for bringing structure, rigor, and strategic financial oversight to support the company's continued expansion. This includes leading and developing the finance function, overseeing all accounting, reporting, and financial planning activities, and driving improvements in financial systems, data integrity, and reporting accuracy. The successful candidate will also be expected to partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership to support commercial decision-making, manage cash flow, forecasting, and working capital, and provide leadership during the company's growth phase. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with a CPA being ideal but not essential. A proven track record in a CFO or senior finance leadership role within the construction or contracting sector is a must, along with strong technical accounting expertise and experience in improving and stabilizing finance functions in high-growth or evolving environments. The role requires a confident, resilient, and decisive individual who can challenge and influence senior stakeholders, and who is comfortable working in a dynamic setting that demands adaptability and ownership. Strong systems experience, particularly with exposure to construction accounting platforms, is advantageous. The CFO will be expected to be in the office for 4 days a week, with one day remote work.
