Patent Litigation AssociateThe firm is seeking a mid- to senior-level Patent Litigation Associate to join its San Francisco office and work on cutting-edge technology matters for some of the world's leading technology companies. This role offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated, high-profile patent litigation within a truly global law firm, with significant direct interaction with partners and clients.The ideal candidate will have at least three years of patent litigation experience, including hands-on case management responsibilities. Required experience includes developing and driving infringement and invalidity contentions, participating in Markman proceedings, and managing written and oral fact and expert discovery. Candidates must be comfortable discussing complex technical details with engineers and developers and confident engaging directly with major technology clients.Applicants should hold a law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and be admitted to practice in the United States. A technical background is required, with a degree in a technology-related engineering discipline, applied physics or mathematics, computer science, or equivalent experience. Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is preferred but not required.The firm offers top-of-market compensation, with an annualized salary range of $260,000 to $390,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Associates may also be eligible for discretionary or hours-based bonuses, along with a comprehensive benefits package consistent with market standards.
