As a remote working position, our Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will enjoy the convenience and comfort of a home office while still engaging regularly with clients through virtual platforms. This role encompasses working Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a work-life balance that aligns with our commitment to employee wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Developing customized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs, goals, and preferences of clients and their families.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate healing.

• Providing educational resources and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, exploring various treatment alternatives, and promoting healthy self-care practices.
\n
• Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create an integrated approach to care.
\n
• Staying informed about the latest research and advances in the field of mood disorders to continually enhance treatment strategies.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.

• Advocating for clients’ mental health needs and combating stigma associated with mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves individuals and families dealing with relationship challenges, including divorce and communication issues. Your expertise will be vital in helping clients navigate these significant life changes, equipping them with the skills and strategies necessary to foster healthier interpersonal connections.

Qualifications\n

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and their families.

• An empathetic and nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ life experiences and struggles is essential.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to maintain efficient workload and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with previous experience in modalities such as structural family therapy, strategic therapy, narrative therapy, or communication therapy will be preferred. Compensation and Benefits\n
