Billing Specialist

Overview A growing healthcare services organization is seeking a Billing Specialist to join their team in Woburn, MA. This position focuses on high-volume billing, collections, and accounts receivable support. Salary: $25–$33.50/hr. This is a temp to possible temp-to-perm opportunity with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 days remote). Responsibilities Process and submit high-volume billing accurately and in a timely manner Follow up on denials, unpaid balances, and outstanding accounts receivable Maintain billing and collection records and supporting documentation Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies Respond to billing and collections inquiries from customers and third parties Assist with special projects as assigned Qualifications 1–2+ years of billing and collections experience High-volume billing experience required Experience with Medicaid or multi-state billing preferred Strong Excel and systems skills Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Associate\'s degree required; Bachelor\'s degree preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
