Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Periscope, you will undertake a variety of critical functions, including:

• Directing and coordinating individualized therapy programs focused on restoring movement, alleviating pain, and preventing disabilities.
• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments to determine clients' functional capabilities and the impact of their conditions on daily living.
• Collaborating closely with Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective implementation of treatment plans, providing guidance and supervision according to state regulations.
• Administering various therapeutic interventions including manual therapy techniques, functional exercises, and the use of modalities such as traction and electrotherapy.
• Preparing and maintaining accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, care plans, and discharge summaries, in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
• Participating actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights to holistic treatment plans and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals.
• Educating clients and their families on rehabilitation strategies, preventative measures, and the proper use of assistive devices.
• Staying informed about industry trends and best practices, engaging in continuous learning through professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
