Work Environment

The work setting is a dynamic outpatient rehabilitation center where teamwork, communication, and patient-focused care are paramount. The position entails a standard work schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing a structured yet flexible atmosphere catering to both patient and staff needs.

• Exhibit advanced knowledge in orthopedic outpatient care, employing both traditional and novel treatment methods based on patient-specific conditions.
• Implement cost-effective and clinically effective treatment strategies that aim to maximize patients' mobility and functional abilities.
• Prioritize non-surgical treatment alternatives, working towards reducing the necessity for pharmaceuticals whenever possible.
• Design and execute comprehensive care plans utilizing various therapeutic techniques, tailoring approaches to each patient's evolving needs.
• Create personalized fitness and wellness programs that address the individual rehabilitation goals of each patient.
• Employ evidence-based interventions, guaranteeing that each patient receives the best care supported by current research in the field.
• Continuously motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
• Promote holistic health and wellness through enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance care continuity and ensure comprehensive treatment delivery.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations of treatment effectiveness, actively monitoring patient progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
• Maintain precise and accurate documentation of services rendered to ensure thorough patient care and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, free of any sanctions or disciplinary proceedings.
• Proven proficiency in numerous manual therapy techniques and demonstrated success in developing effective exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, to ensure accurate documentation and streamlined patient care processes.
• Strong knowledge of current physical therapy methodologies supported by ongoing research and clinical practice.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy is preferred, with expertise in orthopedic conditions being highly advantageous.
• Experience in a sports medicine environment is desirable, alongside a track record of developing successful treatment programs that yield measurable patient improvements.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
