Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite within our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Somerset, NJ. Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient mobility, strength, and functional ability, tailoring treatment strategies that address specific orthopedic conditions.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, pain management, and functional training to support recovery goals.
• Educate patients on proper movement mechanics, techniques to prevent re-injury, and prescribe home exercise programs that encourage independence in managing their health.
• Collaborate closely with orthopedic physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care, enhancing overall treatment efficacy.
• Monitor patient progress through systematic reviews and documentation, adjusting treatment plans based on real-time feedback and clinical outcomes.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to maintain precise documentation of patient interactions, therapies administered, and progress made, aligning with industry standards.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation, attending workshops and continuing education to enhance practice and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on patients dealing with orthopedic challenges, including but not limited to sports injuries, post-operative recovery, and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Our patient demographic ranges from active individuals seeking rehabilitation to elderly patients in need of comprehensive care for age-related conditions. As a therapist, you'll play an essential role in facilitating their recovery journey, utilizing a compassionate and motivational approach to foster patient engagement and compliance.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey is a must.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
