Associate Director, Clinical Operations

To support and optimize the operational infrastructure of the clinical development organization, the full-time remote Associate Director, Clinical Business Operations will manage vendor outsourcing, financial oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Partner with clinical operations and data management teams to author RFPs and define vendor scopes of work Lead bid defense meetings, analyze proposals, and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership Manage the negotiation and execution of Clinical Trial Agreements and investigator budgets, ensuring rapid study startup Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, healthcare administration, finance, or related discipline 7-9+ years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences with a focus on clinical outsourcing and finance Demonstrated experience in clinical budgeting and vendor financial management Strong understanding of clinical development processes and CRO/vendor management Proven ability to influence across functions and operate effectively with senior leadership
