Desired Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Current state license in Respiratory Care
• BLS certification (Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal)
• Prior experience in an acute care setting preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and adaptability

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer a wide range of respiratory therapy procedures including aerosol therapy, CPT/Flutter/PEP mask therapy, incentive spirometry, MDI therapy, and suctioning
• Conduct extubation, oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP management, cough assist, high flow cannula therapy, and pulmonary function screens
• Perform fit testing, pulse oximetry, adult and pediatric EKG, arterial puncture and analysis, and quality control for blood gas laboratory procedures
• Manage mechanical ventilators and alarms, medication dispensing systems, and electronic health records
• Maintain comprehensive procedural records, verify orders, and participate in in-service education
