Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for reliability, troubleshoot issues, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for laboratory analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or interns, and uphold laboratory quality assurance standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while remaining compliant with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Required

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, coupled with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Required Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) preferred within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout tenure in the role.
