Job Details Responsibilities Administering various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness benefits. Conducting employee meetings and arranging for enrollment of employees in optional plans. Conducting new employee orientations to ensure employees gain an understanding of benefit plans and enrollment provisions. Resolving employee complaints related to health and welfare plans, referring difficult or very complex complaints to manager as needed. Acting as a liaison between employees and insurance providers to resolve benefits-related problems and ensure effective utilization of plans and positive employee relations. Providing customer service support to internal and external customers. Developing, recommending and implementing new benefits programs. Ensuring compliance with applicable government regulations and ensuring timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and fees. Coordinating daily benefits processing, handling enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability etc. Qualifications A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in human resources. Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to write clear, concise, and detailed reports. A welcoming and approachable demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills. A strong understanding of insurance administration and the ability to manage multiple insurance plans. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
