Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Summary

As a member of Nidec Press & Automation's global marketing team, the Digital Marketing Specialist serves as the in-house expert for digital marketing, multimedia, and marketing technology initiatives. This role supports North American automation brands and global marketing efforts through content creation, digital platform management, lead generation, and brand promotion. Working closely with sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams, this position strengthens the company's digital presence and supports business growth.

Job Responsibilities

Ongoing

• Collaborate with the global marketing team to execute strategic initiatives, manage projects, and support internal stakeholders.
• Apply digital marketing expertise and keyword research to develop content that increases traffic, engagement, and lead generation.

• Onsite role Minster, Ohio with travel up to 15% domestically and internationally, as needed.

Digital Marketing and Campaign Management

• Manage email marketing, digital advertising, SEO, PPC, social campaigns, contact data, and related performance analytics.

• Use AI, automation, and analytics to improve content effectiveness, audience engagement, lead management, and campaign results.

Social Media and Content

• Manage social media platforms across NP&A brands (30+ channels), including content planning, creation, publishing, and coordination with contributors across brands and regions.

• Monitor digital performance and prepare reports to support optimization and communicate campaign results to leadership and corporate marketing.

Sales, Brand, and Event Support

• Support sales and segment teams, with an emphasis on North American automation brands, through brand promotion, sales enablement, and customer-focused marketing initiatives.

• Coordinate on-site events and provide cross-functional support for global marketing priorities as needed.

Digital Platforms and Marketing Technology

• Lead the development, management, and optimization of websites, digital platforms, and marketing technologies.

• Manage digital vendors, outsourced initiatives, and platform projects while partnering with IT on website security, hosting, and server requirements.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and competitive digital activity to identify opportunities, channel gaps, and innovative solutions, including apps, AR/VR, web tools, and AI-enabled capabilities.

Multimedia Production and Design

• Produce multimedia content, including photography, videography, drone footage, graphic design, and post-production editing using Adobe Creative Suite.

• Promote consistent, high-quality user experiences across digital channels, brands, and platforms.

• Additional job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 6+ years of digital marketing experience; corporate marketing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, digital marketing platforms, content management systems (CMS), and website management.
• Experience in digital marketing, social media management, multimedia content creation, email marketing, SEO, PPC, and digital advertising.
• Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable team player with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.

Portfolio samples will be requested.

Preferred

• Experience with emerging marketing technologies, including AI, AR/VR, advanced web tools, or marketing automation platforms.
• Hands-on experience with videography, photography, drone operation, and multimedia production.
• Experience supporting B2B manufacturing, industrial, or automation-related brands.
