Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Rhode Island
• Prior experience as a school-based SLP or in pediatric settings is highly valued
• Strong commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized therapy planning
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff
• Familiarity with IEP process and special education documentation

Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostics for students
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy
• Develop and implement IEP goals and progress monitoring
• Maintain detailed session notes and required documentation
• Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to support student success
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
