Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced High Volume Payroll Specialist to manage weekly payroll processing for up to 1,800 employees in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of payroll experience , with proven expertise in high-volume payroll processing. Prevailing wage experience is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Process accurate and timely weekly payroll for up to 1,800 employees. Manage employee onboarding and payroll setup, including tax forms and direct deposit enrollment. Review, audit, and process employee timecards. Administer wage garnishments and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Maintain employee payroll records, tax information, and payroll-related documentation. Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies. Process employee terminations, including final pay requirements. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and company policies. Provide payroll support and respond to employee inquiries. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of payroll experience , including high-volume payroll processing. Experience processing payroll for large employee populations (up to 1,800 employees). Knowledge of payroll tax regulations, garnishments, direct deposits, and payroll audits. Prevailing wage experience preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
