GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the day-to-day payroll functions. This includes but is not limited to the bi-weekly payroll processing, employee hire and terminations within ADP, benefit processing, and related reports. This role also provides support for human resources and general administrative tasks.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Payroll Administration
o All payroll related functions required to complete payroll for UTY. Including, but not limited to:
- Biweekly payroll processing
- Biweekly payroll reporting
- Biweekly 401K
- Month-end reports (Payroll and HR)
- Quarterly reconciliation of EDD reports
- Quarterly 941 Reporting and reconciliations
- Payroll tax notices/notifications
- Payroll legislations updates
- ADP/WFN updates and enhancements
o This task excludes journal entry creation and accounting.
- Run G/L Interface to create file (bi-weekly payroll)
- Upload payroll files into ADP
- Upload payroll files into OASIS
2. Perform other related duties and projects to assure efficiencies are met for aspects of UTY payroll operations.
3. Maintain and update any payroll work instructions.
4. Complete OSHA Logs for all offices.
5. Annual workers compensation audit lead.
6. Annual compensation survey participation/data collection.
7. Annual market analysis reporting and lead.
8. Perform and train others on payroll and labor law as it relates to proper timecard submittal, approval, and supervision.
9. Other projects not defined including but not limited to internal audits, special projects, etc.
10. HR and Other Support
o Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
o Assist in new hire onboarding, including preparing materials and assisting with necessary paperwork.
o Help manage HR documentation and filing systems, ensuring documents are organized and easily accessible.
o Assist in benefits administration, including enrollment, updates, and communication with employees.
o Provide administrative support for the Accounting and HR Departments
