Position: MIG Welder
Pay: Competitive
Shift: 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday
Location: Bedford Park, IL

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a MIG Welder to join our automotive manufacturing client in Bedford Park, IL. This is a temporary contract position with the possibility of going full-time. Starting pay is $21 per hour. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!

Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding on steel components following engineering drawings and specifications
Fabricate, fit, and assemble vehicle parts and structural components
Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings
Inspect welds to ensure quality and safety compliance
Grind, clean, and prepare metal surfaces before and after welding
Safely operate welding and fabrication equipment
Maintain a clean, organized work area in adherence to safety policies
Perform routine maintenance on welding tools and report any equipment issues

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior welding experience in manufacturing or fabrication environment
Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG experience is a plus
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Experience using measuring tools, grinders, saws, and other fabrication equipment

Skills:

MIG welding expertise
Blueprint reading
Metal surface preparation and inspection
Fabrication and assembly skills
Equipment operation and maintenance
