Accounting Assistant

The Role The Accounting Assistant supports the accounting department by performing day‑to‑day financial tasks and assisting with data entry, reporting and administrative duties to ensure timely and compliant financial operations. Your Key Responsibilities Maintain money logs for cash receipts, prepare checks and related backup for Senior Accountant to deposit at bank. Enter bank deposits in QuickBooks. Mail accounts payable checks. Enter membership renewals in QuickBooks and ensure proper reconciliation with CRM system, HubSpot. Generate and mail contribution tax letters. Manage advertising invoices and payments. Scan accounting documents, rename digital files, and organize them into the correct electronic folders. Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures. What We're Looking For Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with efficiency. Maintain professional demeanor and ability to interface with high level executives. Customer service orientated, relational. Associate Degree in Business or have an aptitude for business. Microsoft Office and QuickBooks experience a plus. Familiarity with accounting processes and procedures or willingness to learn.
